In this lesson I combined these two images into one. The tools that I used to edit this image are the
magic wand tool, the eraser tool and the burn tool. I firstly put the image of
the flag in the background and then I dragged the image of the apple on top of
it. I then used the magic wand tool to remove most of the background but I
couldn’t remove it all using this tool so I had to use the eraser tool to
remove the rest of the background. I then used the burn tool to make the flag
stand out more and to make it look more vibrant.

In this lesson I started by changing the colours of this image, I then thought that the image did not look professional and I also thought that you could tell that it had been edited. I then used the magic wand tool to remove most of the background but some of the background could not be removed so I had to use the eraser tool to remove the parts that were left. Also my Photoshop was going quite slow so I could not complete as much as I would have liked to.

In this lesson I edited the image of a New York street on Photoshop. I used Photoshop to edit this image because I think that it has more tools compared to Fireworks.To edit this image I firstly changed the hue and
saturation of the image. I did this to make the colours seem more vibrant and
bright. After I did this I then used the ‘Dodge’ tool. This made the pavement
appear brighter and cleaner. I did this to make the picture more attractive to
the public. I then used the ‘Burn’ tool to make the taxi cabs stand out of the
image more. I used this tool to make add focus to the cars. After I had used
the ‘Burn’ tool I used the ‘Sponge’ tool. I used this to remove some of the
colouring from the scene in the background. I did this to again add emphasis
onto the taxis. I wanted emphasis on the taxis because they are the things
which relate mostly to New York. I found editing this image easy because I only used simple tools. To improve it I would possibly remove some more colour from the background.

During this lesson I edited my text for my final montage. I firstly removed the white from the middle of the text. I then deleted the background so it will be easier to transfer the other images onto it. I then went round the outside of the image with the black line tool. I did this becasue I wanted to make it stand out more and to make it look more like my hand drawn design.
I believe that airbrushing is completely immoral and wrong. This is because it gives young people unattainable goals. It also makes them think that you have to be a certain weight and look a certain way to be beautiful. Most teenagers and young people are unhappy with the way they look due to the unrealistic and fake images that are displayed all over the media. Due to editing, some celebrities are unrecognizable to the naked eye. I don't think that airbrushing should be completely banned but I do think that it should be used less frequently and I think that the edits should not be overly noticeable.
In this lesson I started to source my final pictures for my photo montage. I found it easy to find suitable images which matched my visualization diagram. The thing which I found difficult about this lesson was trying to find out all of the copy right information for all of the images. To overcome this problem I used websites which clearly stated what the copyright information was. Copy right exists to enable creators of images and other documents the courage to know that no one can use their image of document and pass it off as their own. Copy right is important because it stops people from passing other peoples work off as their own. Copy right is used on most things. This is because the company or creator of a certain image or document needs to know that no one will try to use their creation and say that it is their own.
